Grrr.

It's good that I got angry.
The fact that I can still get angry and upset are good signs actually. Sure, being angry and frustrated and sad is tiring but as one of my favourite quotes go;

Desire is half of life, indifference is half of death

Kahlil Gibran

Sorry though. I feel bad that I am as unreasonable as I am.
I have no excuse. blah. Sometimes I just get really upset and I'm hoping for a little distraction but it never came. So I shut down.

The current politics in the country has been interesting. Funny, really. I've never been really vocal with my opinions in politics but most of my friends (if not all) know where I stand. haha! It's just amusing. As amusing as the news lately; I honestly can't help myself from making a sarcastic remark or laugh out loud everytime one of those politicians came on the telly.

I was talking to my dad yesterday. He was talking about dreams.. the "plan" kind of dreams. Made me feel a little more lost if that's even possible.
bah. Hafiz, I failed. (I told him I was trying to write an entry without sounding depressed, and he wished me luck. hahaha!)

Unborn tomorrow, dead yesterday
why think of tomorrow, when we're happy today?

Can't remember who said that, its at the back of my mind. Anyway, the bottom-line is NOW, come to think of it. Live now. do now, is LIFE.

Sometimes, or rather often, we're time-travellers - that is, we either live in the past or in the future, seldom in the NOW.

Selamat berposa, Wanie.

aah.. very true.
unfortunately for me, because I have nothing going on today, I need to look forward to tomorrow.. hoping that it'll be a better day.

but because I have very little clue to what will actually make tomorrow better, I am stuck with a mountain of doubts.

in other words, I need to have hope, but currently I am pretty much hope-less.

Slamat berpuase to you too Jangteh..!

Ha ha ha...you can be really funny, Wanie! I won't try to argue with you but I can say 7 things about yourself that says you shouldn't be in the predictions you're in now.

...predications...

:( I didn't make any funnyyyy!
:P

are those 7 things based on your experience or something like it? because if they are, kudos for striking my curiosity but I don't wanna know!

I'm obviously young, and a female which makes me doubly foolish and emotional. I have a tendency to dramatize everything :P

...predicaments ...(sorry, tersasul)

I will tell you anyway:
1. You are young
2. You have a gift of the gab (at least in writing)
3. Well-read
4. Slim (from your pics)
5. pretty (from your pics)
6. you have your dad
7. you're in Shah Alam

Now I remember, the poet who said:unborn tomorrow... was Omar Khayyam.

haha! that's funny..
I wouldn't have thought me being in Shah Alam would make the list. or that I'm slim or pretty. (but that's just me trying not to be superficial. hahaha!)

I was reading thru your past posts - 2002,2004,2005. no, don't get me wrong - i am not stalking you, i am just curious because you're so interesting. and you have a swell sense of humor, maybe dark humor, but they're funny, sweet and contagious (meaning, i want to read more). you mentioned about this dream of writing a book or something. i think that's a great dream. how about letting me proof-read it?

hahaha!
I probably would appreciate that if I had a manuscript to begin with!!

oh hai i'm Hafiz mentioned in the post w000tttttt

That's a pity. When you do have one, send me a copy. If you do intend to write, I think it should be in your uniquely dry dark humor. Or, better still, write what you feel, with passion. You're talented because you wrote from the depth of your being. Know what that means? It means you have the ability to get in touch with yourself. That's what makes your writings captivating. How about short stories? Maybe a book seems daunting but short stories...they are charming...

thank you for saying that.
really really really appreciate it.
if I do come up with a book, you'll know.. for one I'll be yapping about it in my blog! hahha

How about starting out with short stories? I love shorts. Please do it soon! I am making cartoons (from pics). The first one is about a Malay Wedding - my daugther's actually. Follow it if you could spare the time in the slideshow (to Flicr) in my blog.
